Sky Dawned Blue

Published: 2009 Dec 9

This morning the sky dawned blue
Chariot motorcades line the road views.
But if I was a mustang I would roam free
Exhilerating air as far as the eye can see
Like the sun exhaling wispy cirrus clouds
Breathing songs of leaves rustling sounds
But if I was an piscean I would swim the sky
Sweeping through the destinies that underlie
The morning stars invisible to the naked eye
A place where schools of stars swim and fly
Where Atlas inhaled and Apollo sighed
And Neptune teared when Venus cried
To watch where the free spirits would roam
Into eternity they're proud to call home
So that they may defy gravity
Born from mountain purple majesties
Pinwheels spin wildly with one another
Heart-colored flags in the air, flutter.
