I am exploring Drupal for its taxonomy capabilities to give greater flexibility in categorizing different parts of an organization and extending this to the actual structure of UVSA. I am testing this on the UCLA Vietnamese Student Union website.

Things I’ve Learned

Adoption is an issue. Even the lowest-common denominator for communications are mailing lists, but even with that people don't use it. I believe the next step is to actually organize a conference and form focused discussion groups based on similar interests.
